PEORIA - Sheridan “Danny” Carew Dahlquist, 19 of 1015 N. Maplewood, in Peoria, passed away at 5:09 a.m. on Sunday, August 12, 2007 at OSF St. Francis Medical Center Emergency Room.

 

Born on December 30, 1987 in Peoria to Craig and Patricia “Tricia” Carew Dahlquist.

 

Surviving are his parents, grandmothers, Mary Carew of Wilmette, IL and Lois Dahlquist of Joliet; two brothers, Martin and Michael Dahlquist; four sisters, Carey, Molly, Amanda and Ellen Dahlquist all at home; and numerous aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by two grandfathers.

 

Danny was a sophomore at Bradley University and living his dream. He was where he wanted to be, being a Bradley Soccer Player. He worked hard on the field as well as in the classroom. He was an Honor Roll Student at Peoria Notre Dame and Bradley. He earned the Father Fitzgerald Scholarship from St. Mark’s. He was a member of the Sporting Futbol Soccer Club and Central Illinois Soccer Academy.

 

Danny was loved by his family and friends. He was the oldest of seven children and was a role model for them. His aunts, uncles and grandmothers were a large part of his upbringing.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mark School, the Peoria Notre Dame soccer program or the Bradley University soccer program.  Donations to the Bradley Soccer program should be directed to:
